Functional Skills Mathematics Level 1 will help you build the practical maths skills needed for further study, apprenticeships, employment and everyday life.
Through interactive lessons, worked examples and realistic scenarios, you will develop confidence with numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratio, money, measures, shape, data and probability. You will practise calculator and non-calculator methods and learn how to approach multi-step problems clearly and accurately.
The course includes an initial diagnostic assessment, targeted practice, progress checks, mock assessments and a final readiness assessment. Each lesson provides immediate feedback and worked solutions to help you understand mistakes and improve.
Work through the activities at your own pace, show your working and aim to achieve at least 80% in each lesson before moving on.
